Details are thin on the ground at the <a href=\"https:\/\/firstlook.firefox.com\/proxy\/v4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">tease page<\/a>, but the page promises that users can \u201cSupport the sites you love, avoid the ads you hate\u201d for the princely sum of $4.99 a month. Clicking through to sign-up doesn&#8217;t actually let the user subscribe, but instead takes them to a survey asking for opinions without providing any detail or substance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3976 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/stg-coolmedia-stage.kinsta.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/adfreeinternet-firefox.png\" alt=\"firefox ad free internet\" width=\"1903\" height=\"903\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Promises of an Ad-free Internet<\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s currently rather unclear what the service aims to be.\u00a0 The title of the page promises an Ad-free internet and the body promises that &#8220;No matter how you find an article, Mozilla\u2019s ad-free experience is there.&#8221;, yet it appears to be a service only running for publishers who &#8220;partner&#8221; with Firefox.
