Additionally, moderation of comments helps to ensure that only constructive, community-appropriate and brand-safe dialogue is taking place. This is essential not only as a community-building tool, but as a measure of protection when it comes to the monetization of your pages and any advertising you run across your site. Lastly, comment moderation helps to keep the discussion on topic. By acting quickly and removing off-topic or irrelevant comments (spammy comments that irritate us all, for instance!), you can keep the conversation focused and productive, in turn providing more value for those taking part in the conversation.<\/p>\n
